Yep tyres that
You may need to install a generic barcode reader app on your phone
Yeah, I wasn’t meaning to use the app at all but I remember years ago needing to have some sort of barcode reader installed so that my invoicing app would read barcodes. It was as if the phone needed some sort of dependency installed. I don’t think its required for Grocy but it was worth a shot.
I can’t think of any other reason your phone isn’t picking up the barcode in Grocy. Do you have another device you can test?
I will test on wife phone tonight.
Are you running the 0.6.0?
yep, I’ve got 0.6.0 installed.
Maybe try going into the Add-on Store and clicking the refresh button in the top right…?
Yep fixed why it was not update or sorry Frank fixed it for me. Any how try add barcodes with my wife phone still didn’t work. Any other iders.
I’m out of ideas I’m sorry
I asked for help here too
there an video there to show what’s happing.
If anyone can help thanks

is there a way to update the scripts? Within HA Grocy version is 2.6.0 and they now have 2.6.1
I have some issues with the green OK button, maybe this is gone in new version
The add-on needs adjustments in order to support 2.6.1. Maintenance is scheduled.
@frenck
Hi. Just find Grocy app for hassio and it realy great. I have one question, is it possible to see price of all items in shoping list? So i can see how much bill in store will be.
Hi,
I am running the Grocy add-on in home assistant on an RPI 4. Grocy is fairly unresponsive. If I click the consume button under “stock overview”, nothing visibly happens. If I refresh the page the change is visible. The purchase interface displays a similar level of responsiveness. When I click “OK” the purchase form freezes and becomes unresponsive. Refreshing the page shows the change again. I am wondering if there are any troubleshooting steps I can take, or if this level of performance is to be expected from a Pi.
Thanks!

Go Back
Uninstalled it and reinstalled it give me same error
You are running the edge version… which is a development version. You should not use that, as is stated in the readme shown when installing the addon from the edge repo.
I’ve just started using the Grocy add-on and I like it a lot. Is the data file available somewhere in order to back it up? I know it would be backed up via a snapshot, but what if I wanted to move my data to another computer at some point?
