Ok, total noob here when it comes to Docker, but I managed to get the Portainer add-on running in HAOS and install the broadlinkmanager docker image so was feeling quite proud of myself…
I unfortunately have no clue how to access broadlinkmanager which was the whole point of the exercise😅
I’m assuming this is a network config thing that I can’t figure out as I have to access an IP on port 7020 to access broadlinkmanager but I can’t work out how to do that or which IP it is.
After installing the container it lists an IP as part of the connected network (bridge) that is not on my subnet so any help in what I would need to do next? I feel like I’m so close but for all I know I’m still miles off
Is there an additional integration that needs to be installed in HAOS to allow for the setup of a local network connection to the container??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Nevermind Found it…
I was using the TCP port mentioned in the doc for broadlinkmanager, but for Portainer I was able to access it by using my HAOS IP with the internal portainer port of 32768.
Not sure I understand it but the main thing is it works
since update HA 2024.6 I get message saying the Portainer Addon is removed from the repository. hassio-addons/addon-portainer: Portainer - Home Assistant Community Add-ons (github.com)
When I check the repository it says: “This repository has been archived by the owner on Nov 11, 2021. It is now read-only.” This is the first time I receive this message.

It’s most likely removed but I have an up-to-date version in my repo GitHub - alexbelgium/hassio-addons: My homeassistant addons
