Hello,

I just have a little question, everything works well with the notifications except while im on my phone
there is no popup on the top when receiving a notification. Like when you are receving an whatsapp message and there is little popup on the top. The Home Assistant Notification just appear in the notification center without this mentioned popup. I tried it now on 3 different phones. Gave Home Assistant all permissions. Am I missing out a function or is this wanted ?

You need to adjust the notification channel settings for the app to allow that. This is a standard Android feature in Android 8 or higher that can be found in your device settings.

I looked through every setting…
I didn’t get the idea to press on the channel …
Now it works :slight_smile:

How did you change this? I have a Google Pixel 7.

While I get the notifications they don’t stick and are hidden among everything else. Especially for important notifications I’d like it to stay in the foreground until I press the corresponding action

Settings > Companion App > Notification Channels

Select your desired channel and edit the settings from there.
