Home Assistant Compatible Alarm Control Panels

Howdy All! Any good ZWAVE or ZigBee or even WIFI Alarm control panels that will work in HA?
I want to be able to allow my kids to disable the alarm system from a panel instead of setting them up as usuers in HA.

Do you really want an Alarm control panel or just a keypad like this one connected to a sensor of your choice? My alarm keypad requires a control panel which is probably not what you want.

My goal is to just allow the kiddos to be able to arm and disarm. currnetly i just moved into a house and haave not setup my alarm system yet. the pissed off part is that the builder did not wire the house for an alarm system. so I am weighing the solutions currnetly as to either use a HA alarm setup using gocontrol sensors and motion detectors, but the key pad is just to disarm and arm for the kids. I wish i had the panel function that had everything already supplied with it and works with HA.

I was looking at this:

but i have seen no working integration with HA on the product. I know its going to probably be some zwave alarm setup in the long run.

@RobDYI how did you set this up in HA, If you don’t mind me asking sir?

I didn’t use that keypad but instead use a DSC alarm system with its DSC keypads but connected to HA through envisalink.

The keypad above can be connect to HA through a pi I believe. They have a relay (switch) on the back of the keypad that you can connect the ground and a gpio pin to on your pi. you can then use HA to create a sensor to monitor that gpio pin and use it as a lock sensor in HA.
