Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1 is not found automatically

Hello everyone,

Since I want to set up an “thread border router” with the help of HomeAssistant, I bought the Connect ZBT-1 and tried to connect it according to the instructions. (Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1)

Unfortunately, my HomeAssistant Green does not seem to recognise it automatically. (like in step 2 of the guide)
However, I found it in the full hardware list.

So I searched the forum here and found the following:

I have run the SHH script and my ZBT-1 Connect is now also displayed as follows:

ttyUSB0
/dev/serial/by-id/usb-Nabu_Casa_SkyConnect_v1.0_54d28d500339ef11923ae0d154516304-if00-port0

However, the problem persists that my Home Assistant does not find the stick automatically and I therefore cannot configure it for Thread under System > Hardware.

Does anyone else have an idea what this could be due to or is there a manual way to flash the stick and use it as an open thread border router?

(I don’t want to use multiprotocol or Zigbee with the stick, I have another sonoff stick for this)

Greeting and thanks for your help

Zmash

Out of interest, I have now installed the ‘Silicon Labs Multiprotocol’ addon. With the addon I seem to be able to set it up as an OpenThread Border Router automatically by the addon.

But the goal is actually to set it up in the recommended way without Zigbee but only as an OpenThread Border Router.

This actually shows that the stick should work as such, but is simply not recognised automatically, right?
