Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1 / SkyConnect does not work in Home assistant

Hi
I have tried to get HA to recognize the USB dongle but it does not.
I have an PC laptop with Windows 11 and Hyper-V. I have enabled “Enhanced Session Mode” for my virtual Machine.

First time I plugged it in my PC I found it uninstalled in DeviceManager, I right clicked it and made WIndows Update install it. It installed something but can’t find it now in DeviceManager. Anybody knows what its called?

Anyway I followed this guide: “Getting Started with Home Assistant SkyConnect” on youtube. Nope it does not show up in HA so something is wrong.

I read somewhere on this forum that the issue was that the “USB pass-through” was not enabled in the virtual machine…now Hyper Does not have that feature, it only has “Enhanced Session Mode”…looked everywhere in Hyper-V.

I also tried: Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1 - Home Assistant but got an error message:

“Error This integration does not support configuration via the UI. If you followed this link from the Home Assistant website, make sure you run the latest version of Home Assistant.”

Any idé what can help me solve this so I can run Zigbee stuff on it?

So I decided to just convert my Hyper-V box to VirtualBox…that failed. The vhdx file works just fine and I have no check points on it. I have followed a great deal of tutorials on how to convert it…I managed to convert it but it does not run in VirtualBox.

I think I give up. I have one choice: redo all settings from scratch in VirtualBox for HA.

Hi
Okej I solved in by just backing up HA to a tar file. Installed VirtualBox, then I downloaded a new VDI file and then i just applied that tar file in HA. Added a USB passthrough filter in VirtualBox now I can see the SkyConnect.
