Home Assistant Core Update fails

I’ve been attempting to update the home assistant core update. Everytime I run it, it fails to complete, and I have to pull the power plug and restart home assistant. I’ve tried this from the menu, and from the CLI. When I perform the update using the CLI, I can see it start running, then after several minutes, the cursor stops updating, and I can tell that the system is locked up. At this point, all I can do is perform a hard boot, by removing and reapplying power.

My system is built on an O-droid. I’ve never had any problem performing updates before this.

This is my HA core info:

arch: aarch64
audio_input: None
audio_output: None
backups_exclude_database: false
boot: true
image: ghcr.io/home-assistant/odroid-n2-homeassistant
ip_address: 172.30.32.1
machine: odroid-n2
port: 8123
ssl: false
update_available: true
version: 2024.5.3
version_latest: 2024.12.3
watchdog: true

Same here.
In my case HAOS running in a virtualbox VM Ryzen 7 VM allocated 4 cores and 4GB RAM
The core update starts and never returns. Locks solid, I’ve got to kill it on the host, after it returns there’s been no update occur.
Only slightly odd thing I’ve got is logging set to a Postgres Server (on the host)

So I will be very interested if anything is found
