Home Assistant core without hassle

Hi all

I just wanted to share a tutorial I’ve been maintaining about installing Home Assistant Core on a RasPi or other Linux device, how to keep it up to date, installing custom components, making it remotely accessible without subscriptions etc.

https://github.com/Epyon01P/hasstutorial/blob/43c8219b1c1ccaa2b21f9abbc67697377fc411e9/README.md

Afaik it’s a petty definitive guide, covering many aspects of the HA Core experience. It started out as a personal notebook/cheat sheet for me, but I hope it might be useful for others as well. It’s mainly geared toward users wanting to use their RasPi or Linux system for other stuff than just HAOS, or who just want to experiment with HA and Linux.

I keep it up to date with e.g. new Python releases, and will continue to add stuff I setup for myself (e.g. how to install custom front-end components, perform full (off-site) back-ups including history etc) in the hopes it proves useful to someone. I of course also welcome PRs.

Cheers
