Home assistant desktop and websocket not working any longer

I’m not quite sure when this started (within the past couple of days) but my Home Assistant Companion (2024.3) on MacOS no longer connects to HA. I can connect just fine from the same machine from the browser. Also I use Streamdeck with buttons that use the websocket HA interface and they are no longer working either. I am running:

  • Core 2024.4.0
  • Supervisor 2024.03.1
  • Operating System 12.1
  • Frontend 20240403.1
Any help getting these functions working again would be most appreciated.

I realized that the HA Companion app is actually the ios app that should run on MacOS but I deleted it and have downloaded the proper v 1.5.3 MacOS HA Desktop. This app won’t start at all. I tried running it from the CLI just to see what messages I’d get that might help:
