Hi, hopefully anyone can help me.
I recently purchased a home assitant green, and I restored a backup on it from my previous installation on virtualbox. On the PC home assistant was running ok, but now about once daily my instance stops working, so I have to hard reset Home assistant green to work again. Any ideas why?
Thanks anyone for the help!
In the config library there should be a file named homeassistant.log.1
This is the log from the previous run and might hold some clues to what happened leading up to the crash.
Thanks for the reply! I found the file, but I dont know what to look for in it. I would post it here, but it is too long.
Post it to a file-upload service, and post the link here. (e.g. hastebin, pastebin, gist, …)
Thank you very much!
First of all disable your custom integrations.
Second, what is the device at 192.168.1.101. It seems to create fun warnings.
Thank you for your help, I disabled some of the integrations, I will have to wait now to see, if my instance stays online longer.
The device on ip 192.168.1.101 on my router does not exist, I checked the arp table for the mac address of the last connected device on that address, but it doesn’t match up with my current connected devices. In the logs, underneath the ip says onvif, is this integration possibly doing weird things?
How is your camera integrated?
One is through onvif, another one is through tapo custom integration
After a day of running Home assistant wothout custom integrations, the result is still the same. I checked at the logs, but in them it only shows what happened after the reset, but not before that. Also, I dont even know if it is a chrash, Home assistant just stops being accessible, and I have to pull out the power, and connect it again, then it starts working. All the lights are lighting up correctly.
