Home Assistant Green Disconnecting and Running Slow

Hi everyone,

I’ve been having some frustrating issues with my Home Assistant Green (which I received as a Christmas gift in 2024). Recently, it’s been running extremely slow and keeps randomly disconnecting from Wi-Fi. There’s still plenty of available storage on the device, and every time it disconnects, all my other devices remain connected to the network, so I’m confident it’s not an issue with my Wi-Fi.

This has been throwing off my entire smart home setup. Many of my automations respond slowly now, and sometimes don’t run at all when Home Assistant is offline. It’s really starting to mess with things I rely on daily.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:
• Replacing the Ethernet cable
• Double-checking the configuration.yaml
• Restarting Home Assistant
• Checking the logs
• Other basic troubleshooting

Nothing has worked so far.

Has anyone else run into something like this with the Home Assistant Green? I’m not sure if this is a known issue or if I just got a faulty unit. If there’s a way to get a replacement, I’d really appreciate any info on how to go about that, or any other suggestions you think might help.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Seems contradiction. Is the Green using Ethernet or WiFi ?

My Home Assistant Green is using an ethernet cable. I have made sure that all of the other hubs that are connected to my router through ethernet still work when Home Assistant disconnects, so I know there is no issue with my router.
