After six months of trying to get zigbee2MQTT working as reliably as it was before I used Home Assistant, I have conceded it is time to wipe Home Assistant green - restore to factory and build this time with a better idea of best practice.
So completed the Restore to Factory
At the Welcome! Screen.
Proceeded to Create user and entered Name/Username/and a strong password.
I have tried this a few times - each time it just sits there not appearing to do anything, so far on this last attempt it has been creating the account for 20 minutes.
Is this normal? How long should I wait?
Ha RTFM if the username contains a capital letter it just sits there doing nothing!!!
For noobs this ‘feature’ should ideally be clear - if an error condition is encountered give the user a clue:-)
Moving forward with the re-build.
