Hello,

for the last couple of days HA sometimes suddenly is really slow and unresponsive
and I was checking stuff out, I noticed that my load is higher then it should be

In my understanding the load should be below 1.
I use Home Assistant 2022.12.7 and HAOS 9.4

the Load is high however the cpu usage is still low on my PRI4 2GB

Also if I check the 1minute graph over the last 24 hours

you will see that the load is almost never below 1.

I think it should be possible to find out what is causing this high load, But I don’t know how,
has anyone a suggestion?

I have the same problem: since the update on the RP4 a CPU load of 35-40%. At first I had hoped that this was only the case when accessing via app or browser, but the load remains above 35%. Influx is disabled, many domains in the log as well, I don’t use Node-Red, nor voice assistants. I could most likely imagine MQTT, esphome, Z-Wave or the bluetooth-proxy (some BLE-sensors), but they are actually very slim. I also have few automations that run once a minute under certain conditions. I don’t find any entries in the log that are executed too frequently or pointlessly. What is going on there? What should the CPU load be on an RP 4 under ‘normal’ conditions?
unfortunately I can not find a process about top. The CPU load above is correct. Unfortunately, I lack the experience with top to find clues here.

Sorry,
I think this high load is still an issue,
In the meanwhile I migrated to HA yellow, and I don’t have this issue anymore.
same CPU, better cooling and eMMs instead of SD.
Nu sure which part makes the difference but.

and it runs way smoother.

Still I think this high load is an issue which should be handled
