I am not very capable technically, but home assistant is so forgiving and the community is so helpful its great!
So, I have been running Home Assistant OS off a bootable usb for over a year now (idk why I havent migrated yet hahaha) Anyways, I pulled the usb out mid core os update (also dont know why i did this) and after rolling back everything still worked!!!
It’s absolutely insane how resilient it is even to a complete amateur/saboteur hahaha anyways that was all, thanks guys!

I was where you are a couple years ago. I’m still learning but it does get easier!!
Yes the community is awesome and they are very helpful but you can also get examples and people
post code with pictures so that helps!!! You can learn new things or just use the code
