Home Assistant Legrand control + MiBoxer WL_Box1

Hello everyone,

I have about a hundred lights of various types, all connected to Legrand micromodules, which are controlled through the “control” app for turning them on and off.

For color changing, they are connected to MiBoxer WL_Box1 modules, which are controlled through the MiBoxer app.

In Home Assistant, I managed to configure Legrand with Netatmo. Initially, they didn’t work well, but then with Home Assistant Cloud Webhooks, everything started working… so the lights turn on and off.

Now I need to figure out:

  1. Legrand Gateway Bridge, what are they? Do I need to configure them since the lights are already turning on and off?
  2. To change the color, I need to configure the MiBoxer WL_Box1, but I have no idea how to do it, as I don’t see them in the integrations.

Can’t help beyond this advice. It’s called Miboxer, not Miboxe. A small number of sites have it spelled wrong, so I don’t blame you.

Hopefully the correct term will help you when searching. You might want to edit all the posts in this thread so that others may find any potential solution when searching.

If getting the WL_Box1s to work is too much of a mess, can I replace them with some other gateway?

Can you recommend any Legrand and Home Assistant compatible products that I could try instead of the WL_Box1?

I have seen these shelly, but I don’t know them
