I am not sure this is the right place or the right tool, but I am hoping to set up a dashboard so I can see data without internet connectivity to several devices connected to my camper van instead of having to rely on multiple applications.
The idea here is a fairly simple, and cheap Android tablet as a monitor and potentially Home Assistant to create the dashboard and display / interact with the data and give alerts as needed. As well as provide control for some bluetooth devices.
The devices that need to be monitored are.
Monitor:
Chins 12v Smart Bluetooth battery BMS currently monitored and controlled by BAT-BMS app.
Mopeka Pro Check Universal sensors. 1 monitoring fresh water tank levels, 1 monitoring gray water tank levels and 1 monitoring propane tank levels. Monintored and configured with the Tank Check app.
Govee Bluetooth Thermometer / Hygrometer, 2 of these, 1 monitors indoors 1 monitors outdoors under the awning. Currently monitored / configured by the Govee Home app.
Operate.
GOTUS RGBW LED strip lights currently operated by the MagicStrip app.
So Can I bring these devices into Home Assistant, configure them, and use them most notably in an internet not available fashion, and if so, how would I go about configuring that?
I would think that you would need a Bluetooth adapter on your HAOS and an Integration that supports each of those devices. Have you looked at the Integrations? I did see this one…
I didn’t know what they were called. Thanks. Sorry I am familiar with Hubitat, but I am not using Zigbee or Zwave in my camper so need something locally installed that will run on very low power stuff…
The Mopeka sensors are covered, as are the Goveen sensors… Looking the other stuff up…
Sorry if it seems I am answering my own question here. Apparently there is a package under CasaOS that will allow me to run Home Assistant on my Raspberry Pi in a container…
