Home Assistant - New Zealand

Hi. One issue I am seeing with the data is that today's usage is always the estimate so is never right. Does the site let you pull yesterday's usage with the hourly sensor details like today's? Cheers

Looks nice.

I have a few comments/requests:

  1. Current (i.e. right now) cost of energy - that could be fed to other (for example Dynamic Energy Cost) integrations for further calculations. If you could calculate the actual cost based on already purchased powerpacks that would be even better.
  2. Current type of tariff (peak/off-peak). So I can trigger automations on change
  3. Perhaps you could use GitHub - ldotlopez/ha-historical-sensor: Historical sensors for Home Assistant · GitHub for recording the past usage?

Nice to have - ability to select the property/address to monitor.

Good to see this thread still ticking along. I’ve just put an integration out that felt worth dropping in here.

It’s called Basket Brain. It watches Woolworths, PAK’nSAVE, and New World, matches them against your HA shopping list, and works out which store is cheapest for the whole cart that week. Started as me being annoyed at butter costing two dollars more at one supermarket than the one down the road, and it turned into this weeks hyperfixation.

It needs HA OS or Supervised, since there’s a small add-on involved to handle logging in past the supermarkets’ bot blockers (it took way more time than I’d like to admit).

Full details and install steps here if anyone wants to have a hoon:
