Home Assistant not Booting on VirtualBox

Hello all, in need of a bit of help right now. I restarted my host and updated it but now when I try to boot up my HA Virtual machine it gets stuck at the screenshot below. At first it was getting stuck at a start job is running for docker application container engine but after a few restart attempts its now getting stuck here (see screenshot). I have let it sit for about an hour and nothing has changed. Not sure what to do at this point so any help would be appreciated!

Host: Windows 11 machine
Virtual Box v6.1.38
Home Assistant: 2022.9
HA Core: 9.0

Lot’s a problems with vBox right now (I’ve moved to VMWare)

You can try limiting to only 1 CPU in the VM to see if it will complete boot.

Tried that sent me into a boot loop. Even on my attempts to shut the VM down the same audit lines show preventing shut down

Was able to get things back up, somehow enabling Hyper-V did the trick. Even though I originally had to disable it when I first set up the VM…

Personally I’m running 2 instances of Home Assistant in Virtualbox on 2 different Windows 10 machines without problems. It’s been rock solid for me, including USB passthrough.

Ugh well I restarted my VM again and am stuck back at the same spot as before. Disabling Hyper-V made no difference this time. Can anyone point me in the right direction to figure this out?

Edit: Was able to get my system back up, had to disable Hyper-V reboot the host, then enable Hyper-V and reboot the host. Seems like a bug that I will report

Never really got an answer to this problem even on my Github issue. Migrated to VMware temporarily which worked well until my ODROID came in the mail. Back-up running on the ODROID, I would recommend most stay away from VMs unless you are testing if HA works for you.
