Home assistant not discovering devices on my network

Hi, I’m setting up HA VM again after formatting my pc.
I’m having a problem though that none of my devices are being discovered by home assistant. I’ve made sure that they all are on the same local network. They are also all on, but HA just isn’t picking it up.
I’ve also tried checking my logs, but there aren’t any errors.
It worked perfectly the last time I did it, but now they’re all missing.

Also, I have tried doing the same on an old laptop running a VM through ubuntu, but still no devices are discovered.

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Hi, I would start by trying narrowing the problem down.

Is Layer 2 ok → If you open a dosbox on your PC and do an “arp -a” can you see the IP and MAC address of HA? If not, check VM NIC settings etc.

Is Layer 3 ok → Can you ping the HA IP from another device in your network? Can your Ha instance ping its Default Gateway?
