As the title states home assistant is not presenting me with the option to update Home assistant. I am currently on
There is nothing in my home assistant update section nor do i have any errors/warinings in the logs. Not sure what I can do to fix this.
Check your DNS settings in Settings → System → Network → your adaptor IPv4 card
My DNS was set to my router which points to adguard, i had also tried googles DNS.
I have been receiving updates for all the HACS components that I have installed but do not receive a single update notification for Home Assistant itself. I have verified there is nothing skipped. Ive rebooted the PI that home assistant is running on ive tried to check for updates in the update section but it only ever finds HACS component updates.
It’s almost certainly AdGuard blocking the updates.
Ive tried using google dns as well (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
Also i haven’t always had this issue before so not sure what to do. Ill try just turning off my AdGuard as well to see if that helps.
completely turned off my AdGuard by powering down the PI running AdGuard and Home Assistant did not find any upgrades for the system.
Again Home assistant provides updates for any HACS component just not the over all Home Assistant system.
I used the terminal command ha core update and that worked but for some reason the update section still wont show the supervisor or OS. I did the terminal command for the supervisor as well and that worked. So something is off with my HA i would assume.
Check: Settings → System → Repairs → System Information in the overflow menu (top right).
Any system heath issues?
No there are no other system health related issues.
This still is not working. I did not receive a update message in my Home Assistant instance to update to 2024.12.1 i had to use terminal and ha core update command. That worked perfectly with zero issues, but i would like to get this fixed to receive the update messages in home assistant itself. For the time being i am creating an automation to just have it run the update command weekly.

I still have the same issue. Home Assistance does not provide me any indication that the OS needs any updates. I can run the terminal command and it updates just fine. But it seems like I wont be getting any assistance to getting this fixed lol
I am still not recieving home assistant core updates what can i do to fix this
