im using Home Assistant OS version 5.x. Im using the USB boot feature with a raspberry pi 4, an usb3 ssd connector with a 120gb ssd. I follow the latest HA core releses frequently.
There are times when the system runs butterly smooth, very fast and im the happiest person.
But from time to time i try to make a snapshot. Sometimes this works fine, but sometimes … boy oh boy … the system gets non responsive … reboots take ten times the amount of time, every page on supervisor takes extremely long to load … when trying to look at the supervisor log the system freezes. Then i have to wait like 10-15 minutes until the system is back online.
This odd behavior where loading log files and browsing the supervisor persists sometimes a couple of days … sometimes i was too impatient and reinstalled HA OS, to resolve the issue.
By the way, when the log is loaded successfully in caes of the odd behavior, no error is present.
This problem is so strange, that i doesnt even know where to start searching, so im asking you guys here, can you help me ?
Because, this makes HA as good as not usable, half of the time.
should i provide logs or something ? (as far as this is possible)
P.S.: i know, HA OS version 5 is development but this persists alog all 5.x versions up to know, but as complex as this is a am afraid to start an issue on git.

I’m have the same issue. After 1-3 days Hassio on raspberry pi4 using Sandisk Extreme Pro, 6GB, A2 card it freezes. After reboot it appears the OS is not starting. The way I get it to work is take out the card and read the image using Win32 Disk Imager on PC to image file and then simply write the image back to it. Then everything is fine for another 1-3 days. This is a real PITA.
