Home Assistant on RaspberryPi4 (location)

I just got my first Raspberry Pi (4). I’m trying to get Home Assistant up and running on it. This is my first time (trying) to use Home Assistant. I get to the “location” screen and after putting in my location information, I keep getting an error. “Failed to save: Can’t find private variable: @derivedConstructor” Can anyone help / explain this for me?

Hi Rob,
Can you put this in context for us ?
I’m guessing that you installed Hassos 32 bit version for rpi 4 ?
If not what ?
Location, I assume you mean the location of your home using the front end map ?
Did you click on the map to set a marker ?
I did this a long while ago so my memory is hazy but I think I had to zoom out from the Netherlands, move then zoom back in to place my marker, then… Can’t remember (click save/back to config or…)

All of your assumptions are correct.
I did all of this, had everything set correctly and was still getting the error.
Maybe the problem is that I was trying to do it from Safari on my Mac.
I just tried through the Home Assistant app on my iPhone, and now I am in.
I have to admit, it’s a little creepy, and a lot cool seeing all the sensor data from my phone on screen. lol!

So is everything okay now ???
I don’t use safari or a mac so … .

Come back if you still need help

Mutt,
I appreciate you checking back up on me.
That problem is solved.
I just have to use Chrome instead of Safari to access my HA on my Pi.

Thanks again!
