Home Assistant on Synology NAS, memory leak?

Hey community,

since some weeks I’m experiencing a problem where it looks like that the HA docker instance on my Synology NAS runs into memory issue:

After some hours the UI and app on my iPhone stop responding and the only way to get it back up and running is to force a restart via the Synology UI.

I’ve updated the instance to the latest version available:

  • Core 2023.12.1
  • Frontend 20231208.2

Any advise how to troubleshoot this?

I am using HA in docker on a NUC, but experience the same issue; it seems there is a slight memory leak. memory usage after a fresh start is apprx 45% and after a couple of hours is is ramping up to 55-60%. By rebooting the NUC in time, I can keep it stable, but i has never been like that.

I stripped down a lot of HACS integrations, but without the desired result memory-wise.
Looking for a solid way to diagnose this

Seems to have been resolved by updating to the most recent version.
