Home Assistant OS can't see my wireless card

So I installed Home Assistant OS on a NUC PC by first booting into a Ubuntu Desktop Live USB stick. Ubuntu Live was able to see the wireless card and connect to my wifi perfectly. I only needed the Ubuntu live OS to download balena etcher. From here, in balena etcher I used the source of the github iso address for Home Assistant OS. Then used the destination of the SATA hard disk. Once this completed, I pulled out the USB media and booted into Home Assistant OS. From here I was hoping to setup the wlan within the OS. Looking up how to do this, I saw many people use the nmcli (Network Manager tool) to do this, but when I try using this the response is that there are no wireless adapters available. I keep this NUC in a closet because the range of my zwave/zigbee USB receiver I use with Home Assistant doesn’t work for all my devices if I were to keep it with my ethernet switch.
How do I get Home Assistant to see my hardware. It clearly works since I used the wlan in ubuntu to get Balena Etcher. Its just that Home Assistant OS does not see the wireless adapter.
