I have a HAOS installed in a VPS hosting company and have MQTT server, cloudflare add-on installed already, and will install Zigbee2MQTT addon in later stage. I can access to this HA instance anywhere in the world without problem via cloudflare zerotrust.
Now, I would like to use this HA-on-Cloud instance for my new house (for rental purpose so i don’t want to place a HA computer in the house)
In this stage, I am using my existing home ZerotierOne network for testing purpose. I can use HA-on-Cloud to ping my zigbee POE stick on 172.16.10.100. Also i can use a PC at 172.16.10.20 to ping HA-on-Cloud (10.0.0.10). What makes me worry is that in HA-on-Cloud doesn’t detect my Zigbee POE stick for SMLIGHT integration. I cannot change the IP of my Zigbee POE stick to 10.0.0.x for testing because it is being used in my existing home.
Before the actual deployment, I would like to seek for some network guru to help me check whether this kind of network infrastructure can make the POE zigbee stick and HA-on-Cloud to talk to each other.
What if I set OPNSsense DHCP to give the same Zerotier subnet IP to all LAN devices?
