It’s the last chance before raspberry go to garbage. I am trying to install home assistant as virtual machine to esxi arm flings on raspberry pi4. Is there anyone to help me? I don’t have problem to give him access to my esxi to do it. I am trying 1 week now, I have read hundred of guides and I can’t get a solution. Thanks in advance everyone
wow, I ran esxi on an old X86 based server several years ago. I didn’t know they had esxi running on ARM processors
… but I’m wondering why go down this path ? the Raspberry Pi is known more for being cheap than for fast processing. For the cost of a x86 server you can have several RasPi’s, each dedicated to one app.
Your post suggests that the RasPi 4 is not used for other things … and since HAOS is already a multiprocessing environment (using Docker) I’m curious why the need for esxi as well ?
Possibly Docker and esxi are both trying to control the hardware layer, causing conflicts. Maybe a Debian + HA install would work better with esxi ?
