Hi,
I have my Home Assistant instance running on a Raspberry Pi 4 with Home Assistant OS, the raspberry is inside a server cabinet connected to the network with LAN.
I have the Huawei Solar integration setup using the onboard WiFi, but the signal inside the cabinet is to weak to reach my Inverter, I’ve connected a USB WiFi dongle but this doesn’t show up on the network page in Home Assistant.
The Dongle does work on other Raspberry Pi’s running Rasbian.
When I login via SSH on and run nmcli dev status
, I get the following:
DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION
eth0 ethernet connected Supervisor eth0
wlan0 wifi connected Supervisor wlan0
p2p-dev-wlan0 wifi-p2p disconnected –
Is there a way to use the wifi dongle with Home Assistant?
