Home Assistant - Passthrough GPU

Hi there,

I’m running HA on a Virtual Machine in Proxmox. I’ved followed the guide to passthrough my GPU. I can see it in PCI devices on the HA Virtual Machine but I’m unclear how to complete the setup (when I added it, HA got stuck at restart).

At the moment I have display as default and machine as Q35.
If I add the GPU, do I tick ‘all functions’, ‘ROM-Bar’ and ‘PCI Express’?

For what purpose?

I may be wrong but I think in general HA does not have GPU drivers.

For use with Frigate which I have running as an add-on in Home Assistant.
I want to passthrough the GPU into my Proxmox VM running Home Asssistant.

If anyone can confirm that HA does not have the GPU drivers, You can use frigate in a lxc and pass the GPU.

I use the script below to create the lxc
