Hello,

My Home Assistant host has suffered what appears to be a failure of the web interface on several occasions. Here’s a screen capture from the CLI, is there somewhere I should report this?

It says “out of memory”, so I quess you have a memory issue (HW) to less memory and nothing to do with HA itself

Increasing the swapfile size (especially on a USB SSD attached to my test RPi 3B) is pretty typical when trying to get a Linux box to perform and generally be more stable… After hanging around on this GitHub issue and watching the progress, I believe there’s a simple and repeatable way to increase the swapfile size. Thanks for the info. I had already added more memory to the VM, but just to be sure I’ve added some more memory. Will see what happens.

Thanks for the info, I will take a look. Must confess I didn’t know you could add more swap if running HA as an appliance, so was happy to see the info you provided.

or there might be a bug in a software (core or custom component / add-on) which causes memory leak.

Seems that could be the cause of my problems… I’ve applied the update, so lets see what happens. Thanks for the info Canedje, much appreciated.
