Not sure what is happening with my HA setup, but it seems to reboot itself randomly, say every 30 minutes or so after I applied the update. Anyone else?
More info needed.
Hardware? Build? Anything?
Haven’t changed anything beyond applying the update. Is there anything in the logs I should be looking for?
Really, that other info would help.
Are you on an RPi? If so, it is not uncommon for the power supplies to suck. And update may draw more power.
The fact that there was ONLY an update is not enough without other information.
For example, I run it on a VM on server grade hardware. So, an update alone probably won’t hurt. But, as I said, if on a Pi, there are sooooo many possible issues.
Not sure why you don’t want to give any useful information.
Sorry, you’re right. I was just wondering if this is something others have experienced.
I am running HA on a proxmox VM running on a intel NUC. I took a snapshot prior to the update so I guess I can restore.
Rebooting every half an hour or so it seems. Thanks for your response.
Rebooting the VM to see if that makes a diff.
Much better
And, others certainly may have experienced it. But, you’ll never know without usable information.
I do not have this specific experience. So, I’ll bow out of this.
Hopefully others will be able to help you.
is it core or the full OS that is rebooting?
Not sure TBO.
Seems to behaving itself now. Perhaps it was something with the VM.
Back to random reboots. Cannot figure out why.
I think it may have something to do with the USB port configuration as the zibgee integration does not load upon reboot either.
