I’ve got a Raspberry Pi 3b which runs my HA and over the last couple of months I’ve had issues with it randomly freezing or restarting.
The way it seems to freeze is that the web ui won’t load when you navigate to the IP address but what is odd is that I have WireGuard set up as an add on and that seems to run fine still.
Or it will restart which I’ve noticed due to some automations that normally run when it restarts.
As I said the set up is on a Pi 3b which is powered by a dedicated USB supply which can easily provide enough power. It is on a SSD and also has a z wave stick and sonoff Zigbee usb stick.
I’ve got an awful lot of integrations through HA and HACS so I wonder if I’m hitting the limit on what the Pi can cope with?
I’ve tried checking the logs to see what might be causing the issues but the logs only seem to go back as far as when it restarted. How am I best to go about trouble shooting what is causing the issues?

So I’m currently out and have noticed by HA has gone down. This time it also seems to have taken down the Wireguard as well.
I know it restarted overnight as well. Getting very frustrating that it keeps doing this.
I have the same happening on a Pi4 (2GB Ram) since weeks, and frankly I’m getting very very tired of it. HA had issues of this kind before, which lasted for months before a fix came out. Hass frontend crashes every day - #59 by cooper
My initial enthusiasm about HA has severely waned, due to these daily freezes.
I’m now downgrading to OS 6.6 to see if that will run stable. If success, I will report back… otherwise I’ll abandon HA and try IOBroker or the like.
Is you pi hard wired ? I had this issue for over a yr out of know where on a pi 3 upgrade to a pi 4 still having the same issue. Even did a full fresh install and installed all components 1 at a time over weeks. Then plugged it in rather than relying on WiFi (and changed setting or it will continue to use wi-fi anyway) and it’s been solid for 2 months now.
Hey guys, have anyone of you managed to resolve this? I have just starting with HA and it happens to me too. Anytime a configuration goes wrong, it goes into a full restart cycle
Same Problem, Proxmox with i7, HA turns my VM. I dont know hoe to Save Logs and Debug it… any ideas? My wife is gona Wild bc we have some Zigbee Lights 🥹 and they dont work…
