I don’t believe there is any plan to extend the available Home Assistant hardware beyond protocol gateways and servers at the moment. It would be quite a big undertaking considering the myriad of certification standards for mains powered devices around the world. HA does not have the required resources to develop and support that kind of thing.
There is the “Works with Home Assistant” partner program you can support by buying form the listed vendors though.
