can something please point me in the right direction or explain how content ID works now with media players, particularly Sonos. I’m just trying to create a script, which will be a simple button, then plays a particular radio station on a particular sonos speaker.
I’ve used Dev tools States, to get the Content ID, but nothing works. Either nothing plays or it just play some random song.
Has the Sonos updates broken integration?
I was about to ask the same question, but for a different symptom. For the past 18 months or so, I have had a bunch of reliable automatons that played tailored MP3 files on my SONOS system for certain events (Front door motion, spouse arriving home, etc.) These have been rock-solid since I created them.
But, about a week or so ago, a delay (1-3 seconds of silence) has appeared and only the last few syllables of the text is spoken. (“ Front Door Motion” has now becomes “tion”.)
Nothing has changed on my side. I can still send TTS messages to the SONOS, so the network is fine.
Frustrating!
