Hello, my home assistant randomly stopped working, what could be?
The virtual machine still running normally as always, but when I log in the server it looks stuck.

normally a yellow/orange bullet would appear next to settings telling you there is an update
but if it doesn’t you can try command line
ha os update
or
ha os update --version 14.1
[edit:] one other thing I notice, your device does not have an IPv4 address.
is your device connected to the internet? else I don’t think you can update.
I noticed people complaining about not be able to update a complete offline HA instance.
Ok I want to make a premise, it’s months that I’m unable to do an update, I don’t really know why! That’s why my os is really old…

I think maybe there is the root cause of not updating.
I don’t know much about your virtualization,
But you are using a VM on a machine that is using wifi,
it could be that you need to create some kind of bridge between the host and the VM
wifi is listed separate as wlan under system info
and I don’t see it in your screenshot
For network settings in HA, you can go to Setting/System/Network
There you can find the interfaces known in HA and modify some stuff
But I think you should take a look at your virtualization, I only know Hyper-V
Ok I actually using a MacBook Air with the UTM machine, and installed this file watching a tutorial on YouTube like 3 months ago. Until now worked really nice, but today I just woke up and my server is no more working… probably is the OS too much old I would guess
Those are my infos regarding my network… I should have bridged as you can see, but not really sure it’s the right settings …
Unfortunately I m unable to do this now, since my HA stopped working, but I will do it as soon I’d fix it… Thanks for your precious advice bro
I solved this by changing that Network in my UTM to Shared.
I actually can’t log in my other dispositive since is set to Shared, when I put again Bridged my HA won’t work and the cause is the fact that I don’t have a ipv4 address on Bridged… Someone can kindly help me solve this? Thanks
