Home Assistant Supervised - OS-Agent is not installable

Hello,

Thank you for this information.

I’m new to both Linux and HA. I just got an RP4 and I would like to install HA Supervised.

I am on this environment:

Linux raspberrypi 6.6.31+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.6.31-1+rpt1 (2024-05-29) aarch64 GNU/Linux

However, I’ve been having the same problem for three days now:

Depending on the os-agent package installed, I get one of the following errors:

Which happens, I think when I install an os-agent package other than aarch64. Or :

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
homeassistant-supervised : PreDepends: os-agent but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

with the aarch64 package.

However, in both cases, the package installation seems to have been successful, since the command:

gdbus introspect --system --dest io.hass.os --object-path /io/hass/os

does not return any error. So I understand that the os-agent is installed.

I reproduced the tutorial steps on several debian versions, with the same result, with the RP4 connected to wifi and ethernet. I’m completely stumped. Your help will be most welcome

Thanks a lot!

Is the Linux machine intended to run a dedicated home assistant server?

It sounds/looks like you’re trying to run haos on top of Linux instead of via a docker container or virtual machine to me but more information is needed about your exact setup and if you’re following the right process/method, I think.
