Hi everyone!
I bought a wifi thermometer / hygrometer (brand “Kecheer”), perfectly compatible with Google. I initialized it with Smart Life and everything works perfectly: even Google can integrate without problems and correctly answer questions like “What temperature do I have in the room?” or “What humidity is there in the room?”.
Even Home Assistant recognized the thermometer immediately, through the integration of Smart Life / Tuya. However, it automatically sets to “switch” and not to “sensor”. Consequently, I cannot view the temperature / humidity graph and I cannot even create automations such as "turn off the heating if the temperature marked by the thermometer exceeds 20 °).
Home Assistant recognizes the device, but not correctly. He doesn’t see it as a thermometer but as a smart plug!!! How can I solve in your opinion?
Thank you in advance!
P.S.: You can see the attached files for more infos about my issue…
