I’m new to this. I installed Home Assistant and was able to add about 20 TP-link Kasa smart switches and plugs. After a short while, all the devices were disconnected. Are there any known issues that I need to know about? What information should/can I provide here to get any insight and help?
I’m guessing that the DHCP issues new IPs to the switches and they’re not automatically rediscovered by Home Assistant. Is there anything I can add to re-discover?
Also noticed: I use LanScan to see devices on my network, and so it pings devices. When the home assistant is connected to my network, all devices go on and off, but when I disconnect the home assistant, they constantly respond to ping.
Thank you!
This happened to me as well. Tried removing and adding the integration in home assistant which did not work. Also tried removing and adding the plugs (HS103) from within the Kasa app, and then going back to home assistant to add them, which did not work.
