Home Assistant UI inaccessible after increasing disk size on vm

I’m running Home Assistant in a VM on my Synology NAS after my Raspberry pi 4 started crashing randomly. I loaded the VM with a backup, this took some effort but it had been running for a week without issues.

I got a warning stating that there wasn’t enough disk space to update home assistant. So I shutdown the VM and added space to the disk, after restart the command line on the vm works, but the UI itself is inaccessible, none of the automations work either.

If I’d taken a snapshot of the VM this would have been an easy fix at 10:30 PM. I have a recent backup from home assistant, but that will take me some time to get running.

If I look at the core logs it spits out some warnings about custom components and if I restart the core it tells me there is no response, and it assumes there is a fatal startup error.

I was looking for how to start home assistant in safe mode at least, but any suggestions are welcome.

Calling supervisor repair in the ha cli resolved my issue
