Home Assistant - Unsupported (Ubuntu 20.04.1) - Operating system

I can’t actually recall how installed HA on my QNAP (NAS) Virtual machine. It probably has done this since day one but I just noticed that it in supervisor it shows:

You are running an unsupported installation (Operating System)

Below is the Configuration -> Info of my system. Could someone suggest from this / or is there another way to find out why my installation is in an unsupported state?

Home Assistant Supervised is only supported on Debian and there are some other restrictions as well. All other linux installs like Ubuntu for example are unsupported. Unsupported means that the devs won’t provide any support, however the community is mostly hqppy to help you even with unsupported installs.

The other restrictions:

This one always strikes me as odd as it is one of the main reasons for running supervised:

No additional software, outside of the Home Assistant ecosystem, is installed.

Yep it’s odd, but most of us run Plex and some other bits alongside with no issues.
