Today I updated my home assistant OS to the newest version. After the update the rpi didn’t boot at all. After checking the SD card, I was only able to read the Hassos directory and not the home assistant directory with all my files (my device asked if I wanted to reformat the device).
I also tried to connect a screen but the hdmi port didn’t give any signal at all.
Does anyone know what could possible be the problem?
Sounds like a corrupt SD card.
You can try doing a clean install on the card and restoring a back up.
There have actually been a few issues reported for the OS 8.5 update. I’m a bit reluctant to try it. Maybe on the weekend when I have time to spare.
Same issue here on HA Yellow. After update, it doesn’t start up anymore. Power cycling doesn’t help. I am stuck in the dark (literally, I can’t control my lights anymore). I will now try to use the serial debug of the Yellow.
