I am running zigbee2mqtt on my home assistant yellow, using the internal zigbee hardware. I recently bought a sonoff zigbee dongle and I want to use that as my zigbee device instead of the internal hardware.
What I’m hoping is that I can backup/restore the zigbee network to the sonoff dongle so that I don’t have to re-add every zigbee device in my house.
I found walkthroughs that seemed to think this was possible when going from dongle to dongle, but I can’t figure out how to do it from the HA-Yellow hardware to a dongle.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how to do it?
I tried making a backup from zigbee2mqtt, copying it to the zigbee dongle, then changing the serial port that z2mqtt uses to the USB port (and changing the serial port entry in configuration.yaml as well) but after restarting the z2mqtt ui would not load until i switched the serial ports back to the internal port.
