I migrated from a home assistant blue to a green.

This resulted in a brutally unstable experience, so I switched back to blue.

The green will be returned and replaced with a yellow.

CPU was constantly nearly at 100% beforehand on the blue around 10%.
Ram was full as well.

So no recommendation for the green from my side, if you run some apps on HA.

Next try yellow with pi cm5 and 16G of Ram :sleepy:

What " Failed " ?

I don’t think the Yellow is available any more.

Symptoms as described:

  • Backup restore worked flawlessly via nabu casa cloud and local restore (tested both)
  • After several reboots CPU spikes to 100%, web ui not reachable anymore, no zigbee, bt, lan access. GbE stays alive, but device is practically not useable.

top via ssh barely useable.

After trying several times, sith disabling Apps etc. I gave up. Not worth the time.

Crazy good. The yellow is a completely different league!

It runs smooth, fast, reliable. What a shame, that it is so hard to get.

Will upgrade the SSD lateron for even more storage.
