Based a lot of the interest on this post, and the number of people who came to me with great questions and concerns about IoT security, it led me to open up my IT security company towards the home automation market, so I’m now very happy to say that we are the only specialist cyber security company (in New Zealand) to offer home automation security, managed services, and installation.
Thanks to everyone who has taken such a keen interest in the security of IoT. As I’ve mentioned before, the traditional home network is incredibly under pressure, and we are definitely getting to a point where the risks of IoT need to be properly managed if the home user is going to be safe against cyber attackers or anyone wanting access to that valuable data.
