Home automation with Lan Zigbee coordinator and donation to Ukraine

Hi brothers and sisters in home automation (maybe more brothers?) :slightly_smiling_face:

I have been thinking for a long time about how I can contribute in the best possible way to Ukraine. I currently have support for Zwave in my system, but I found that I need to expand Home Assistant with support for Zigbee, previously I was a bit in doubt about which coordinator I should go for a Conbee another Zigbee coordinator. From earlier I was aware that it was a developer who was located in Ukraine and made a USB Zigbee coordinator.

I therefore contacted the developer in Ukraine directly to find out if I could donate money to him in any way or help in any other way. I got a nice feedback from the developer who calls himself dakasKus. Who could tell me that they have managed to move their products from Kyiev to western Ukraine and have thus managed to send out some products already. I decided that I also want to support in the best possible way. Hope more of you use the link to the product below. Maybe this can be our way of supporting them as best we can by buying what we need a Zigbee coordinators or something to control the heat pump with.

Man, hello!

Thank you very much for your message.
Actually, I personally do not need direct money donations themselves.

But anyone can support me and Ukraine since today by placing a real order for one of my two items:

we were able to reallocate some stock from Kyiv to the western regions.
And today we have sent out the first order to the customer, so confirmed that can ship further.

All the profit from each transaction I will donate to the Ukrainian army and to the Ukrainian people who are needed.

If you can help us by spreading this information among your communities, I will be kindly thankful to you.

These two items are available for ordering so supporting us:

No stock anywhere for the Zigbee LAN co-ordinator… Not on eBay, official store, or Tindie.

Got an ETA?

Looks like there is a new Zigbee to PoE LAN/Wifi device: SLZB-06

Does anyone have experience with this new device?

some comments you can find by these links:

Thanks, but YT portuguese to english auto-translate is pretty useless.

Have a look at the Facebook link: Redirecting...

Running smooth like an… you can place it anywere (lan or wifi and POE) very nice webinterface, and on top of it, firmware update for cc2652P or esp32 is done with a blink in the webbrowser.
I running it with ± 30 devices and fast … stable, i can only recomend this piece of hardware.

Frans (or someone else), could you help me out setting up the SLZB-06?

I think i’ve tried every possible configuration I could find on the internet, but connecting to the SLZB-06 to my RPI using LAN of WiFi every time results in the error:
“Error: Failed to connect to the adapter (Error: SRSP - SYS - ping after 6000ms)”

I’ve seen the guide that lists this error, but the suggested options did not apply to my situation.

Connecting it using USB does work.

This is my current configuration:

data_path: /config/zigbee2mqtt
socat:
  enabled: false
  master: pty,raw,echo=0,link=/tmp/ttyZ2M,mode=777
  slave: tcp-listen:8485,keepalive,nodelay,reuseaddr,keepidle=1,keepintvl=1,keepcnt=5
  options: "-d -d"
  log: false
mqtt:
  server: mqtt://core-mosquitto:1883
  user: [XXXX]
  password: [XXXX]
serial:
  port: tcp://192.168.1.25:6638
  baudrate: 115200
frontend:
  port: 8099
advanced:
  homeassistant_legacy_entity_attributes: false
  legacy_api: false
  legacy_availability_payload: false
  log_syslog:
    app_name: Zigbee2MQTT
    eol: /n
    host: localhost
    localhost: localhost
    path: /dev/log
    pid: process.pid
    port: 123
    protocol: tcp4
    type: "5424"
  channel: 15
  last_seen: ISO_8601
  log_level: debug
  pan_id: 6754
  transmit_power: 20
device_options:
  legacy: false

I think the problem could be related to my network, but I want to rule that out.
I’m able to access the web interface of the SLSB-06.

If more details about the setup can help, please let me know.

Hi Renso,

Config for Z2M looks good!
But in the webbrowser of the SLZB06 what you have configured?

First which esp32 firmware you have installed?
Led behave (yellow on/ blue on/off (with newest firmware green ?))

For newest firmware look at post Sergge!

grtz Frans

Thanks for your reply!

The settings on the device (port and rate) match. Also, I’ve updated to the latest ESP32 and coordinator firmware.

The led behavior is a bit strange, the green led stays on after power on, even after a factory reset.

I’m in contact with Serge to find a solution, if we find a solution I’ll let you know.

Thanks for now.

Did you find a solution? I have the same issue. Days of searching and no luck.

Sorry for the late reply. I’m still waiting for a replacement SLZB06 from Ukraine. (Customs is a bit lengthy process in these times)
This one is tested by the manufacturer and should work.
If I don’t forget, ill post my findings here.

Did the replacement work ??

I have the same problem, ZHA works fine with this thing in USB mode but it is not detected in ethernet mode.
