I have a problem.
First i used nabua casa to remote acces home assistant. And home / away works fine.
Now i use my own domain name to remote acces home assistant.
But when i leave the house it stays on home.
I use home assistant app on iphone.
Why doesnt change the state from home to away with my own domain.
You are going to need to provide some details regarding your own-domain setup to have a hope of someone being able to help you.
Of course, one solution is to stick with Nabu Casa (which also supports the devs).
I have ngnix installed and have pointed my domain name to my internet ip adress. And portforwarded it to home assistant
Did you update the apps to use the new remote URL?
Have you tested that it works?
I updated remote adress.
And when i’m away i can connect my home assistant remotely.
