Home Connect - deprecated

Hi, I am getting the warning in the screenshot (in german).
Meaning that switch entities and all other program switches are deprecated within home connect integration.
Does anyone know what to do to resolve this?
Best regards and thanks in advance,
Otto

Hi!

The “active program” select entity and the “Stop program” button can do the same work than the program switches.

That’s why they are deprecated. Is there any use case that isn’t considered where these entities don’t do the job?

I dont think so, I just want to know if/what I have to change in my config so everything keeps working…

Well, if you don’t use them in any automation, script, or panel, there’s nothing to worry about.

If you use the in an automation or in a script, you will get a message in the Home Assistant configuration, this message will request you to fix that and shows you how to change it.

ah ok, thank you! so I will just wait (I am using some automations for my diswasher)…

Dear,

I’m working on the same issue, got the same message.
Seems like no program can be selected anymore but only a selected program can be started but where can I select the active program ( in my case mostly “automatic” )?
I my automation I only have the choice to “change dishwasher Emmers active program to first option” (Verander Vaatwasser Emmers Actieve programma naar de eerst optie).
The diswasher starts but the automation doesn’t continue ( i have some things to do afterwards and it’s not proper to end with an errormessage)

This is the errormessage:
Error starting program Dishcare.Dishwasher.Program.Intensiv70: Request cannot be performed since OperationState is not Ready (SDK.Error.WrongOperationState)

In the integrations the intensiv70 is selected, when changing this i get a message that it’s read only ( Program can currently not be written (SDK.Error.ProgramNotWritable).

I’m working on the same issue, got the same message.

@Patrickske646 I think this is not the same issue; you are having issues operating the appliance. OP is getting a warning on the UI, but has no problems operating the appliance.

Please, create another post, or create an issue on GitHub (link to template), that way, if the problem gets resolved, other users can see what the solution is

Thank you!

Try home connect local integration.

After cutting the power of the diswasher (not much use) and deleting and reinstalling the Home connect integration with the same OAuth Flow, everything become more clear, some entitys were disabled by default when reinstalling so I let them disabled. After that I just could start the machine on the manually selected program , until now i’m not able to set first a specific program and then start it, still figuring it out.

Cutting power will do probably nothing to dishwasher.
You have to reset it.
But again don’t use home connect cloud integration. Use home connect local as it is working much better.
I have 11 washes using this integration and dishwasher till now didn’t became unavailable.
