Morning. I have a large home 5,000 s/ft and I have three (3) main panels to my house with two sub-panels. I am in the U.S. (as I know there may be EU only solutions)
I have a sense energy monitor that I bought a few years back, but it is inadequate as it can only affix to two (2) panels and therefore does not capture all the energy. Does anyone have a good recommendation for something that would monitor my energy usage in the home?
I have the one Main panel with two sub-panels in my home, and I just completed the installation of 3 Emporia Vue 2’s and a few of their outlets. Out of the box it uses the Emporia cloud, but the Vue’s can be flashed (I’m not ‘there’ yet in that ability).
I finished the setup earlier this week, and I’m really pleased with what I’m seeing (or what I can see, rather - I have things to tweak, insulate, and such). How it compares to other options out there I couldn’t say. The support Emporia offers is outstanding, I will say. You might consider talking to them about your configuration before committing.
This also has me scheming how to start later this year with a small solar project to get up to speed with that realm.
