Home energy monitoring with Pepco in MD, USA?

Question: Has anyone setup real-time energy monitoring with Pepco?

I’ve reviewed the Pepco website and I see I probably have a smart meter that sends out usage stats with RF. I wasn’t able to immediately find the details on how a homeowner can tap into that feed (but they talked about how they made it private, so I wonder if the data is encrypted or obfuscated).

Most of the options I see documented in the HA docs are for European systems (which makes sense since it’s more expensive there).

I know it’s eight months later, but I would be interested if anyone has done this. (I figure there’s no reason to create a new topic if there’s already this one.)

I check every few months, but I don’t think it’s a priority for most of the US. I think our European friends have more concerns with this due to tariffs that change throughout the day.
