Homeassistant.components.light.hue] Unable to reach bridge (flapping)

Am I the only one seeing this weird behaviour? Both hass and hue bridge are on the same local lan, same netblock no real latency…

Not alone, I’ve been noticing the same error recently.

The same here. With the latest 0.67.0
It started with 0.66.0 it was ok before with 0.65.6
Unable to reach bridge 192.168.#.#
and a lot of:
Timer got out of sync. Resetting
and
Updating ###### took longer than the scheduled update interval 0:00:10
for allmost all entitys like::
Updating hue light took longer than the scheduled update interval 0:00:05
Updating webostv media_player took longer than the scheduled update interval 0:00:10
etc…
I also notice that the CPU is almost always above 50%
any suggestions what’s the cause and, how to solve this?

Since 0.66.0 i get the same error every 30 min.

Seems to be a bug?

Is there a way to get this working again? I now have the same issue, while it worked for 4 days perfectly…

Updating the Hue firmware for the hub and bulbs using the Hue app on my phone fixed the problem for me.

I’ve got a bad case of homeassistant.components.light.hue] Unable to reach bridge again… No updates available :-/

Every time this has happened to me, the Phillips Hue app had an update waiting for me. The Hue bridge seems to stop responding to API calls if there is an update pending.

I disabled the internet connection for my bridge for this very reason. Still I got “Unable to reach bridge” and can’t get it reconnect.

I’m having that constantly. If i remember correctly it started around the time when Hue introduced the “Startup behaviour”. This might be pure coincidence, but i can’t really think of anything else that would have change to suddenly cause this “flapping”.
