Hi,
i’m currently in the process of migrating my former smart home system into homeassistant.
What i would like to use is the screensaver function of fully kiosk browser with a homeassistant dasboard view to display my virtual radar server map and some additional data from homeassistant on my wall mounted tablets (again as in my former smart home system).
my main problem is.:
i have no chance to authenticate in the screensaver function of fully kiosk browser and homeassistant is prompting for login or trusted network auth.
as you can imagine… one tab on the display and the screensaver is gone
is there any possibilty to authenticate within the url or similar?
i’ve already configured trusted networks and stuff…
but everytime i get the logon prompt and the option of connecting via a trusted network…
and here comes the “tab on the display” into the game again …
just had the chance to really test the behavior with an spare tablet … calling an ha panel view through the screensaver function of fully kiosk browser works as long as i’m logged in on the main panel in the background and the cookies and all other session infos are stored locally…
Unfortunately I have the same problem as described above. How did you do that? “… as long as you logged on the main panel in the background and the cookies and all other session infos are stored locally”
As usual, I’m on an HA site and the fully kiosk browser should then call up the page: “192.168…:8123/dashboard-screensaver” after x seconds → the page could not be loaded, as described above
what i did is to set the start url of fully to the link i wanted do use as screensaver.
there i logged in with a user which has permission to view the dashboard in ha. after that the cookies and infos where saved locally in the browser engine and i was able to set the screensaver url to the url which i had in the start url before.
